Several community members gathered Monday at Oak Hill North Cemetery for the annual Memorial Day service. Montgomery County Veterans Service Officer Joe Ellis was the guest speaker. He served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971. He encourages everyone to reflect on the importance of the day and honor those who died in service to our nation. Mayor Todd Barton also read a proclamation.
