Michael John “Z” Prescott, 57, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Morganton, North Carolina.
He was born July 22, 1958, at Crawfordsville, to William and Doreen Prescott (nee Guyatt).
Michael was a Union Representative with Local #2250 at GM, loved NASCAR, especially Dale Jr., an avid golfer playing in the Wednesday night GM League, and football watching his favorite player Peyton Manning.
Michael married Reda Prescott (nee Epley) on July 1, 1989, at Crawfordsville. She survives at Saint Peters, Missouri.
Other survivors include: daughters, Angela (Daniel) Hummel of Florissant, Missouri, Jessica (Tyler) Grose of Troy, Missouri, Elizabeth (Tim) Blanton of Foristell, Missouri, and Megan Prescott of Wright City, Missouri; son William Prescott of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers, Allen (Sandra) Prescott of Chappell Hill, Texas, and Doug (Diane) Prescott of Indio, California; sisters, Louise (Dennis) Tovarnak of Carrolton, Texas and Audrey Verdugo of Mount Dora, Florida; eight grandchildren; sister-in-law Diana Prescott; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Prescott.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376, with Deacon Al Prescott officiating. Visitation was conducted Friday June 17, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
