Missie Cox of Crawfordsville passed away Monday night, May 4, 2026, at home. She was 57.
Born Aug. 17, 1968, in Daytona, Florida, she was the daughter of Doug Wright and Phyllis Wright. She worked as a machine operator at Lakeside Printing.
Surviving family includes: four sons, Daniel Cox, Joseph Cox, Michael Cox and Joshua Cox; two daughters, Melynda Cox, Ladina Cox; companion April McClung; two brothers, Mitch Wright and Wayne Wright; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Phyllis Wright, as well as two granddaughters, Hayden Cox and Alizay Cox.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 10 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave., Crawfordsville.
