The Montgomery County Council on Aging will host the 2026 MCCA Senior Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at the First Baptist Church, 1905 Lebanon Road.

The celebration is designed to promote wellness, connection, and recognition for local seniors. It will feature essential information on services and activities that cater to seniors and caregivers in Montgomery County, connecting our senior population with vital local resources. Attendees will also enjoy live entertainment, a free lunch and available vaccine clinics.

Each year, the MCCA Senior Celebration brings the community together in a heartfelt tribute to the seniors who have shaped our lives, neighborhoods and history. This event is part of a broader movement to connect with and celebrate the vibrant lives of older adults, highlighting MCCA’s leadership in supporting aging with dignity.

Based in Crawfordsville, the Montgomery County Council on Aging is a dedicated organization working toward ensuring the well-being of seniors in the county. Its mission is focused on advocacy, navigation and education, ensuring seniors have the information, respect and opportunities they deserve.
