Southmont led 18-11 after a quarter and 32-20 at the half.
“Tonight was a total team effort and I like what I am seeing from our guys,” Southmont coach Jake Turner said. “Yesterday was our best practice of the year and I saw a lot of positives tonight. We are starting to understand what it takes in terms of preparation and toughness. We told the guys we need four excellent practices ahead of next weekend. Based on the last couple days, I full expect our guys will respond.”
Southmont will host Seeger on Friday night, and travel to Crawfordsville on Saturday.
