Mr. and Mrs. Hole

Kristen R. Dobson and Michael K. Hole exchanged wedding vows March 16 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Wallis, Texas. Father Larry Rice performed the ceremony in the church where the bride’s parents and maternal grandparents were wed. Guests traveled from 30 states and five countries to celebrate.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Barbara Dobson, Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Cypress Falls High School, the University of Texas at Austin and Stanford University, where she met her husband. She is employed as an associate commissioner of the Texas Education Agency.

The groom is the son of Gerald and Kathi Hole, Darlington. He is a graduate of North Montgomery High School, Butler University and Stanford University. He completed his residency at Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. He is a professor, physician and director of social entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Austin.

A wedding reception was held at Briscoe Manor, outside of Houston.

The couple honeymooned across Japan and make their home in Austin, Texas.
