Museum grateful for B&L Engineering

Posted

The Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to B&L Engineering. It’s been a busy year moving heavy things at the museum. We couldn’t have done it without them. It all started in January with the installation of The Amazing Castle. Without Denny Phillips’s expertise, we wouldn’t have even gotten the exhibit in the building. When September rolled around and it was time for the exhibit to leave, we needed to do the same thing but in reverse. This time Steve Gass joined Denny to make the removal safe and almost easy.

When the Journal Review newspaper decided to move to a new location, they donated a 2,000 pound Washington hand printing press. B&L Engineering sprang into action again. Landon Nave and Kenny Lukenbill carefully picked up the press and transported it to the museum lobby.

2023 has been full of fun and adventure at the museum. We’re thankful to have such great businesses like B&L Engineering in Crawfordsville. Our year wouldn’t have been as successful without them. Thank you!
