Adam Nagele, real estate specialist at Hoosier Heartland State Bank, is celebrating 10 years at the bank.

Nagele began his career with HHSB in 2013 as assistant branch manager at the Crawfordsville South branch and was later promoted to branch manager before becoming a real estate specialist. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and later became a certified branch manager in 2015 through the IBA.

“I want to personally say thank you to Adam for his hard work and dedication over the past 10 years,” said Trent Smaltz, Chief Lending Officer. “His knowledge and ability to adapt quickly have contributed greatly to the success of HHSB, specifically with the mortgage department. The last two-plus years have been a challenge due to unprecedented mortgage loan volume created by record low rates. Adam and his team found a way to provide excellent service to our community during a very difficult time. We look forward to Adams continued success.”

Nagele and his wife Monica reside in Crawfordsville along with niece Alyvia and nephew Nathan. He previously spent four years on the United Way board and is a current member of Kiwanis Satellite Club. He has a refined taste for spicy foods and smoked meats, which became evident when he took home first place in HHSB’s first ever chili cook-off in 2022.
