Nancy Carol (Gibson) Ammerman, 83, of Waveland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023.
She was born Sept. 24, 1940, at Roachdale, to the late Earl and Mary Roxie (Whitaker) Gibson.
She worked at Sommer Metalcraft in Crawfordsville for 30 years. She loved dancing, singing, working in her flower beds and reading. She was a member of Browns Valley Christian Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Harry Ammerman of Waveland; three sons, Kenny (Rose) Ammerman of Tennessee, Jeff (Lori) Ammerman of North Carolina and Matt Ammerman of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Anthony Wayne Ammerman; brother Donald Lee Gibson; and two sisters, Louise Mantooth and Phyllis Wheeler.
Visitation will be at Browns Valley Christian Church, 9011 S. State Road 47, Crawfordsville, on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon, with Pastor Jeff Korhorn officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Browns Valley Christian Church. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
