Lynne Newlin will retire from Lakeside Book Company on Dec. 8 after 40 years with the company.
She was hired in 1983 and has worked in the quality department most of her career. She has several family members who have retired or currently work for the company; Carol Foos, Ed Hintz, Larry Pettit and Paul Hintz. Her grandfather, Byron McBride, retired as a bindery supervisor from RR Donnelley in Chicago in 1963.
She resides in Crawfordsville. She has two sons, Matt and Mitch, both of Crawfordsville, and two
granddaughters, Addy, 11, and Winter, 3.
Newlin is a volunteer with Franciscan Hospice Care in Lafayette. She looks forward to being available to help with her granddaughters when needed and will take advantage of additional opportunities to volunteer. She is a member of Rock Point Church.
