LINDEN — The North Montgomery board of trustees held a special meeting Friday to approve the district budget for 2020-21, as well as pay increases for staff.
The board approved a budget totaling $22,668,968 broken down into four funds: Education, $11,569,700; Operations, $8,121,453; Debt Service, $2,227,815; and Rainy Day, $750,000.
Teachers and administrators will receive a $1,000 base salary raise, approved during the meeting Friday morning. Classified staff will receive a $0.35 increase per hour.
