LINDEN — North Montgomery students and staff will have an increase in the cost of meals in the upcoming school year.
On Monday, the school board approved the increases.
“The reason for the increases is because the cost of food has gone up,” Director of Curriculum and Business Offer Craig Reich said. “The increased pricing will help cover the food costs.”
Beginning this year, the cost for an elementary school breakfast will be $1.70 and lunch will cost $2.25. Breakfast will cost $1.70 and lunch will carry a $2.40 price tag at the middle school and high school. The cost for adult lunches will be $3.
