Patricia Ann (Grissom) Parish, 92, of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.
She was born July 30, 1931, at Crawfordsville, to the late Claude M. and Dorothy Louise (VanScoyoc) Grissom.
Pat attended Crawfordsville High School and on July 2, 1960, she married the love of her life, William George Parish “Trader Bill,” who preceded her in death Oct. 19, 2010. She worked in the kitchen at Southeast Fountain Elemetery for more than 27 years. She was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church and absolutely loved playing Bingo and was known to many as “Bingo Pat.” She loved spending her last eight years at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville and loved spending time and doing activities with her many new friends there.
She is survived by son John (Carla) Parish of Covington; four grandchildren, Tim (Lisa) Shields, Todd (Stephanie) Shields, Tonya (Tim) Ward and Morgan (Chad) Day; and eight great-grandchildren, Kaley, Kolt, Eric, Kyle, Grace, Brooklyn, Harper and Stella.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; daughter Penny Wakefield; and sister Mary Crossland.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, on Friday, March 8 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Steve Crum will officiate. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery.
