Patrick Joseph Holladay, 44, Crawfordsville, was called home on April 3, 2024.
Patrick was born April 19, 1979, at Lafayette, to Dennis and Melody Holladay.
He was baptized at St. James Lutheran Church where he attended grades K-8. He graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1998 and obtained a degree in fire science from Ivy Tech. Patrick worked as an estimator at Brenneco Fire Protection and as a firefighter on the Lafayette Fire Department.
He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. His love for fishing started at the age of two. Friends and family quickly learned not to accept an invitation to go fishing with him unless they were prepared to spend half the day on the water. He was a proficient marksman and was very proud of his collection of trophies.
He is survived by his parents; sister Jennifer Holladay (Derrick Davis); nephew Jackson Davis; niece Hayden Davis; and his beloved dogs, Bailey and River.
Services will be held Wednesday April 10 at St. James Lutheran Church, Lafayette. Visitation will be from 4:30-5 p.m. with the service to follow at 5 p.m.
In honor of his memory, donations can be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County.
