The Parke Heritage High School National Honor Society held its induction of new members on March 30 in the high school gym.
Thirty-six students were inducted as new members. They were selected based upon scholarship, service, leadership and character. These areas are the basis for all National Honor Society selections.
Speakers for the program were Mason McVay, Gavin Jacks, Haley Holcomb, Phoebe Henderson, Hannah Thurman, Grant Thompson, Josie Bodine, Emma Norman, Ashlyn Hybarger, Will Patton, Keely Black, Cassie Miller, Jenna McVay and Ashlee Clodfelter.
Serving as parent and member escorts were Kenna Batty, Mason Bowsher, Katalyn Dowell and Garrett McCalister. Assisting with the certificates, patches and book were Paige Bishop, Lily Roosevelt and Reed Herrick.
