Phillip “Lemmy” Lemuel Pithoud, 71, of Bloomingdale passed away at 2:12 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at his home, while surrounded by his loving sisters.

He was Oct. 22, 1952, at Clinton, to the late Henry Lemuel and Ellen Kathleen (Dooley) Pithoud.

Lemmy graduated from Turkey Run High School in 1970. On Dec. 6, 1980, he married Debbie Hickman. She preceded him in death May 26, 2011. He was a farmer and truck driver and enjoyed mushroom hunting and visiting with his friends. He was a fun-loving soul that loved joking around but was always around to help a lending hand.

He is survived by his three sisters, Anita (Duane) Pithoud-Myers, Brenda Pithoud-Ollier and Linda Pithoud-Snodgrass; uncle Jake Lape; aunt Evelyn Hobson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends. He was loved by all and will be missed by many. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Debbie Pithoud; paternal grandparents, Lemuel E. and Velva Moore Pithoud; and maternal grandparents, Verna Seay Dooley and Purdy James Dooley.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, on Sunday, Feb. 18 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m., with Pastor Ken Charlton officiating. Burial will follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
