This year will mark the 21st annual running of the Sugar Creek Trail Thanksgiving Day Pie Run. The event, set for Nov. 25, offers something for everyone, so the whole family can enjoy Thanksgiving morning together.
The 5k run begins at 9 a.m. The top three male and female 5k finishers will be awarded cash prizes. The free kid’s run (for children 10 and younger) will start at 9:05 a.m. The two-mile distance is for runners and walkers and begins at 9:20 a.m. Registration is now open and the fee is $25 through Nov. 11 and $30 beginning the Nov. 12. Online registration is open at www.crawfordsvilleparks.activityreg.com.
On-site registration will be available and will open at 8 a.m. race day. Registration includes a long sleeve performance T-shirt and the chance to win a pie as you cross the finish line.
All proceeds from the Pie Run benefit the Sugar Creek Trail maintenance fund.
