Pie sales supporting Pam’s Promise

Posted

The pie on the Thanksgiving dinner table can help support women experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County.

Pam’s Promise Transitional Housing Corp. is selling homemade pies to raise money for the nonprofit’s mission to provide unhoused women a safe place to live and help them establish employment, life skills and other tools necessary to move into stable sustainable housing.

Board members and supporters are currently taking orders for the pies, which include dutch apple, four berry, pecan and pumpkin. A team of volunteers will bake the pies at Christ Lutheran Church the week before Thanksgiving.

The frozen, boxed pies will be available for pickup from Nov. 17-20.

Pies are $20 each and can be ordered by calling Sue Zachary at 765-366-3203, Elizabeth Zuk at 765-366-3980 or any Pam’s Promise board member. The deadline is Nov. 12.
