Priscilla (Till) Ruth Flick, 99, of Ladoga went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024.
Priscilla was born Sept. 2, 1924, at Indianaplis, to Frances Hutchens Davenport.
She spent most of her childhood with her grandparents, Leonard and Grace Hutchens in Darlington. She attended Darlington school. She was a devoted housewife and owner of a variety store in Ladoga.
Pricilla was a member of Ladoga Christian Church. She also was a 50-plus year member of Eastern Star.
Priscilla married Leon Flick on Dec. 8, 1941, at Tipton. He proceeded her in death in 2004. They had shared 63 years of marriage together.
Survivors include their three children, Kenny (Pat Galloway), Linda Cox and Keith Wayne. Priscilla and Leon were foster parents to several boys and one girl, Betty Parks Smith. She was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She also had a sister-in-law, Marguerite Davenport.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and David Davenport; sister Mary Lou; sister-in-law Beverly Davenport; two daughters-in-laws, Terry and Susan; son-in-law James Byron Cox; and grandchild Kenneth Flick II.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Ladoga Christian Church, 124 W. Elm St., Ladoga. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Rod Noggle will be officiating. Burial will follow at Ladoga Cemetery.
