Indiana Racing Memorial Association Co-Founder Mark Eutsler of Linden and Brownsburg Town Manager Debra Cook recently celebrated the completion of the Brownsburg Racing Memorial Trail Phase I with the unveiling of the historic marker honoring the memory of USAC Racing Vice President Dick Jordan — a 50-year USAC employee — at the entrance to Arbuckle Commons (7198 Arbuckle Commons). The marker completes the 2.1-mile Phase I of the Brownsburg Racing Memorial Trail, which features five iconic motorsports legends across Williams Park, Town Hall Green, Arbuckle Commons, and White Lick Creek Greenway and includes Linden native and 1982 Indy 500 Co-Rookie of the Year Larry Rice and former Crawfordsville Radio WCVL-AM/WIMC-FM General Manager Howdy Bell, who was also a reporter on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network for 42 years. More information about the trail and a map are available at www.brownsburg.org/660/Brownsburg-Racing-Memorial-Trail.
