The Crawfordsville | Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the annual Christmas Parade will take place Dec. 6, beginning at 2 p.m. in historic downtown Crawfordsville. This year’s theme, “Santa’s Workshop,” invites participants to bring the magic of Christmas to life with creative floats, festive decorations, and plenty of holiday spirit.
The parade will travel primarily along East Main Street before turning south onto Washington Street, with commentary provided in front of the Montgomery County Courthouse. This free event is open to the public and continues to be a cherished holiday tradition for families throughout Montgomery County and surrounding communities.
Businesses, organizations, clubs, churches, families and community groups are encouraged to participate. Trophies will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in both the adult and youth divisions.
The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to the generous sponsors who help make this community celebration possible. Stevenson’s Hardware returns as the presenting sponsor, with Acuity Inc. sponsoring Santa’s Sleigh. Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power is the Spirit of Christmas sponsor. Parade judge sponsors include Allen Monument Company, Franciscan Health Crawfordsville and C & F Fabricating.
Registration to participate in the parade is now open at www.crawfordsvillechamber.com, with a deadline of Nov. 13. All participating organizations must provide a certificate of liability insurance, ensure participants complete the required waivers, and have a representative attend one of the mandatory informational meetings held on the fourth floor of Fusion 54 at 101 W.
