Lori Shaver, owner of Ironman Raceway located near C.R. 200 and State Road 47, spoke to the Crawfordsville Rotary Club. She said the first race was held in 1996. The race was cross country and had ATVS and bikes racing for the prizes. August and October are the months with the largest races. In October, the Ironman Race draws racers from all across the United States. A visit to the raceway is a great way to spend time in the outdoors and enjoy the races.
