Megan Roberts Shaw will celebrate 25 years at Lakeside Book Company on Sept. 27. A dedicated pillar of the company’s customer service department, Shaw’s journey is a testament to professional growth and a deep-rooted family legacy within the company.
Shaw began her career in 2001, joining the team as a customer service assistant. Her talent and dedication led to a steady climb through the ranks, earning a promotion to customer service representative in 2006, followed by a move to lead customer account specialist in 2017. Today, she serves as customer accountsupervisor, a role she stepped into in 2025.
For Shaw, Lakeside is truly a family affair. She represents the fourth generation of her family to contribute to the success of Lakeside Book Company (formerly RRD). She follows in the footsteps of her great-grandmothers, Frances Allen and Frances Seybold; her grandfathers, Ed Allen and Ken Roberts; her parents, John and Cindy Roberts; and several other relatives including her husband, Jeremy Shaw.
Outside of the office, Shaw is a devoted wife and proud mother to their two daughters, Frances and Violet. Her passion for the community is evident through her decade of service coaching cheerleading at Southmont and her active involvement with Woodland Heights Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. When she isn’t coaching or volunteering, Shaw enjoys diving into a good book and planning her next family vacation.
