Shirley Fay (Biddle) Brown, 78, of Tangier passed away about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021, at home.

She was born Dec. 7, 1942, in Clinton County, to the late Clark and Eva Mae (Zetterberg) Biddle. 

She graduated from Tipton High School in 1960. She worked at RR Donnelley’s for 40 years and retired in 2001. She cooked for the Tangier Community Center during the Covered Bridge Festival for 16 years. She was a long-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Moose Lodge. She loved cooking, family gatherings, bingo, fishing and taking short and long drives. 

She is survived by her husband, Ralph, whom she married Aug. 7, 1988; son Terry (Janie) Norris of Waynetown; daughter Melinda Dugger of Terre Haute; two step-sons, Allen (Teresa) Brown of Kingman and Gene (Rajean) Brown of Bloomingdale; three brothers, James Biddle of Tipton, Clark (Wilma) Biddle of Lafayette and Leon (Penny) Biddle of Cicero; sister Beulah (Phil) Baker of Arcadia; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Dan Biddle; and two great-grandchildren, Eric Patton Jr. and William Brown.   

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21. The funeral will be at noon Thursday, April 22 at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Crum officiating. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Shirley’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Family request mask be worn and social distancing practiced. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.
