The Crawfordsville community is invited to a silent vigil for peace from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Peace Pole at Pike Place (corner of Pike and Washington Streets).
There will be no program. We will come together silently as a community to pause, pray, meditate, reflect and think about all people caught in war and violence in the Middle East, Ukraine and other places around the world.
Organizers invite everyone, according to one’s own traditions, to pray, reflect, breathe and remember those living and dying in fear from power, prejudice, injustice, hate and evil. Although our suffering cannot compare with those directly involved, we do suffer as we listen, watch, read and grieve.
