Sister Rosemary Eyler died suddenly Saturday, March 30, 2024, at St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana. She was 93 years old.

She was born June 10, 1930, to Clayton and Margaret Brennan Eyler.

She is survived by brother Thomas Eyler of Wilmington, South Carolina; sister Margaret Jane Eyler (David) McCafferty; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Betty Rhumkoff, Donna Lee Clark and Carolyn Henderson.

Sister Rosemary attended St. Bernards Grade School and graduated from high school at Ladywood in Indianapolis. She entered the Order of the Sisters of Providence at St. Marys of the Woods in 1949. She graduated from St. Marys of the Woods College and received two masters degrees from Indian State University in education and in education administration. She taught eight years and was principal for 51 years in various parochial schools.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and she loved to play golf.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4 with the funeral to follow at the Church of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary of the Woods.
