Brieana Smith, real estate underwriting assistant, is celebrating five years at Hoosier Heartland State Bank.
Smith joined the team in January 2019 as an account specialist at the Crawfordsville East branch before being promoted to mortgage portfolio manager. Soon after, she was promoted to her current position of real estate underwriting assistant. Smith is responsible for reviewing and processing documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance. She is also responsible for monitoring HELOC applications from receipt to closing.
“Brie’s drive, accountability, and willingness to learn have been instrumental in her success over the last five years,” said Jennifer Meadows, real estate underwriter. “I am certain her adaptability, persistence, and perseverance will continue to make a positive impact in the mortgage and underwriting departments. We are excited to see what great things she will accomplish in the future.”
Smith has an associate degree in business management and accounting while contributing nine years of banking experience to the team. She has two daughters, Nora and Delanie, and is a resident of Waynetown. Outside of work, Smith enjoys spending time with family and friends and camping and boating at Raccoon Lake.
