Move over Luke Menard, there is another celebrity in Crawfordsville.

Courtni Hall, a 2004 Southmont High School graduate who currently is a senior at Indiana State, was crowned Miss Indiana USA on Sunday at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville.

“I am on Cloud Nine,” said Hall, whose mother is Crawfordsville’s Barbara Hall. “I can’t believe it.”

Hall will represent Indiana at the annual Miss USA Pageant, which will be broadcast live on NBC on April 19 from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
