Hoosier Heartland State Bank is proud to announce that Chasity Surface has been promoted to ag/commercial portfolio manager at the Linden branch.
Surface joined the HHSB team in December 2019. She worked as an account specialist at Crawfordsville East before transitioning to Linden, where she was soon promoted to her new role. As portfolio manager, Surface will assist with the bank’s agricultural and commercial lending in Montgomery County.
“Chasity has worked diligently as an account specialist as well as maintaining the Linden branch while the lobbies were closed,” said Margaret Sennett, commercial loan assistant. “We are very excited to have her join the outside sales team.”
She grew up in Montgomery County and graduated from North Montgomery High School. She will graduate from Ivy Tech Community College this May with a degree in business administration. She is married with two children and in her spare time, she enjoys exercising, kayaking, reading, and having fun with her kids.
