Join organizers Aug. 8 at Wabash College for the 12th annual Dining with the Chefs event, the major fundraiser for the Montgomery Country Free Clinic.
A cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a four-course meal with wine pairings and cooking demonstrations for each course presented live by professional chefs. The clinic provides free healthcare through more than 5,000 patient visits each year, serving uninsured Montgomery County residents, especially women and children in need; and delivers approximately 850 meals per month to Meals on Wheels clients.
“In these challenging economic times, we must do all we can to help our neighbors who are struggling, and this fundraiser gives you the opportunity to help while enjoying not only an excellent multi-course meal with friends, but a photo booth and a silent auction for a range of valuable products and services, mostly donated by local businesses,” organizers stated in a press release.
In that spirit of community support organizers thanked local businesses that are its major sponsors this year: Women’s Health Specialists/Joshi Pediatrics, Acuity Brands Lighting, C&F Fabricating, Franciscan Health Crawfordsville, Campbell Ag Service, and The Juniper Spoon.
But without the generous support of other caring Montgomery County residents, the Montgomery Country Free Clinic would not be able to carry out its vitally important work.
