Turkey Run Elementary fourth grade students were able to experience the Indiana State Fair on Aug. 17. It was Military Day at the fair, so the students were able to visit with military personnel as well as police officers during their time there. They visited the various buildings to see the old cars, 4-H projects, and the many other exhibits. The field trip was sponsored by the Mosteller Grant through the Parke County Community Foundation.
