VEEDERSBURG — The Tri Kappa chapter in Veedersburg will have a Duck Derby on the waters of Coal Creek. The duck drop will take place at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 23.
Only 200 ducks will be sold. Each duck is numbered. Cost per duck is $10.
Awards are first place, $500; second place, $200; and 10th, 25th and 50th places are $100 each.
All proceeds will go to Tri Kappa for community activities within the Southeast Fountain School Corporation.
All duck sales are pre-sale only. Contact a Tri Kappa member to participate.
