A crash Wednesday afternoon on the city’s east side involving an SUV crossover and trike-style motorcycle resulted in the death of one person.
The crash at East Main and Oak streets was reported at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday.
The Crawfordsville Police Department and Crawfordsville Fire Department responded to the scene. There they found the motorcycle rider, identified as David Dulin, 69, had suffered multiple injuries.
Medics transported Dulin to Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. StatFlight was contacted to be enroute to the hospital for transport. However, Dulin succumbed to his injuries and the Montgomery County Coroner was called to the hospital.
Crash investigators with the Crawfordsville Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate.
The driver of the SUV crossover was not identified.
