The Valero Renewables plant in Linden has contributed $25,000 to the Montgomery County Free Clinic: a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to uninsured residents in Montgomery County.
Located at 816 Mill St. in Crawfordsville, the Montgomery County Free Clinic offers adult and pediatric healthcare, including wellness checkups and sick visits. The clinic also runs the county’s Meals on Wheels program, delivering nutritious, delicious meals to seniors and home-bound adults.
The funds from Valero were donated toward the clinic’s Family Medical Care Program, which offers preventative care; chronic disease management; acute care visits; health education; and referrals to needed specialty services. The clinic is the only organization that provides these services in the county for free.
