Mike Warren is making his first run at public office. The 52-year-old Crawfordsville man is seeking the Republican nomination for Montgomery County Council At-large.

Warren was born and raised in Montgomery County.

“I am family oriented with a deep appreciation and care for the people in our community,” Warren said. “By taking an active role on the council, I will have the opportunity to represent our citizens and collaborate with the council, the commissioners, and the City of Crawfordsville to continue responsible growth through effective, fiscally responsible investment by managing our resources efficiently to nurture a thriving community for all to live, work, and play. It will require thoughtful work and leadership to make the difficult decisions facing the council, and I am ready for the challenge.”

Warren is employed as Senior Associate Director of Alumni & Affinity Group Engagement at Wabash College.

His memberships include Darlington United Methodist Church, Rocky Ridge Golf Club and Darlington American Legion Post 302. He also is a graduate of the Montgomery County Leadership Academy.

Warren and his wife, Kim, are the parents of two children, Kaleb and Kai.
