The Journal Review is accepting entries for the annual Deck Your Homes holiday lights contest.
Residents can nominate themselves or their neighbors for cash prizes that are awarded to the top six best decorated homes, as judged by the newspaper.
An entry form can be found in today’s edition. The entry form will appear regularly in print and online at www.journal
review.com until the contest deadline. Entries must be received at the newspaper’s office, 200 S. Washington St., Suite 101, by 4 p.m. Dec. 8.
Forms also can be mailed to Journal Review, P.O. Box 512, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
All entrants must be Montgomery County residents and all homes must be located within the county. There is no fee to enter the contest.
Homes will be judged Dec. 13 and 14. Lights must be on from 6 to 9 p.m. those evenings.
Winners will be announced Dec. 20.
Cash prize for first place is $792; $495 for second place; $297 for third place; $198 for fourth place; and $99 for fifth and sixth places. All prizes and prize money come from the Christmas Light Fund administered by the Montgomery County Community Foundation.
