The Wabash River CTE North Building Trades program was recognized by the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet for having one of the top partnerships in the state of Indiana.

The Wabash River CTE/Fountain & Warren County Building Trades Partnership Alliance Instructor Adam Acton and local real estate agent Jay Allen have never been afraid to ask for help. The result however is unique in that very few people and businesses say no. They have more than 20 individuals and organizations that have not only stepped up to help out on the program’s first house but are also now involved in the second one.

Below is a list of those individuals who have contributed funds or time to our program. Our students gain because they get to see the support from local individuals and businesses for their potential trade. The individuals and businesses all benefit because these students see them as a viable option for employment or a place to do business. We are now building our 2nd home with the assistance of these key partners: Partnerships include Jay Allen - Allen Auction and Realty; Renee McGrady, local philanthropist; Centre Bank; Hoosier Heartland State Bank; Fountain Trust Bank; Darryl and Jed Bell, Bells Excavating; Brian Shields and Gary McGrady, Hillsboro Hardware; Abe Hetrick, Ferguson Do It Best Hardware; Craig Vanhook, Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 157; Kenneth Byler, Midwest Moldings; Travis Walters; Hetrick Enterprises; Miller’s Flooring; Western Indiana Community Foundation; Elmore Farms; Delta; Performance Mechanical; ADA Consultants of Indiana; Milestone; Vance Kelly Construction; and Down’s TV and Appliance.
