The Youth Service Bureau will be offering new mentor training from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 7 at the Youth Service Bureau.
The training will be offered in a hybrid format, giving prospective mentors the opportunity to complete a series of training videos online before attending the in-person session for further training on Nov. 7. This format allows participants to complete the online portion at their own pace beforehand while still receiving valuable face-to-face training and support.
Community members who are interested in becoming a mentor are encouraged to participate and learn more about the mentoring program and how they can make a positive difference in the life of a young person.
For more information about the training or becoming a mentor, contact Sara at the Youth Service Bureau by phone at 765-362-0694, ext. 102 or email Sara@mcysb.org.
Training signup for this training class ends Oct. 23.
The YSB encourages anyone interested in making a difference in the life of a young person to consider becoming a mentor and joining this community effort.
