Annette Naomi (Booher) Chesney, 68, of Waynetown passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Franciscan Health Lafayette.

She was born Sept. 12, 1955, at Lafayette, to the late Ivan Paul and Naomi Lucille (Coffin) Booher.

Annette graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1973. She married the love of her life, David Chesney on July 2, 1994. He survives. Throughout the years, she worked at RR Donnelley’s, Wabash National in Lafayette, Tippecanoe Title Company, and after retirement she worked at the Waynetown Liquor Store. She enjoyed sewing and loved shopping and collecting bears. When anyone would ask how she’s doing, She would always say, “Just Peachy.”

She is survived by husband David Chesney of Waynetown; son Jason Runion; four grandchildren, Braxton, Ivan, Alexiss and Tyler; two great-grandchildren, Theo and Roxie; sister Patricia Guiney; two brothers, Daniel Booher and Roger (Ramona) Booher; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Les Booher and Melvin Booher.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care Waynetown, 202 Bratton Road, Waynetown, on Saturday, March 30 from 2 p.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 4 p.m. with Celebrant Gabriella Chapin officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
