Barbara Ellen Kelly Craft, 93, of Roachdale passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at home, with family by her side after years of failing health.

Barbara was born July 6, 1927, to George and Louise Kelly.

She graduated from Russellville High School in 1945. She worked at Turkey Run Inn where she became head hostess. While working at Turkey Run she met another employee, Aaron Charles Craft, who became the love of her life. They were married Sept. 30, 1945. They lived and worked in Greencastle before coming to Roachdale in January 1964. Together they owned and operated the Roachdale Hardware for 28 1/2 years. Barbara is a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church and Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Some of her great pleasures were cooking, baking, and sharing time with her family.

Barbara is survived by two children, Keith (Susan) Craft of Roachdale and Linda Graves of Rockville; four grandchildren, Kevin Craft of Roachdale, Melinda (Scott) Long of Rockville, Cynthia (Kevin) Marquis of Lebanon and Mark (Marci) Graves of Bloomingdale; along with three very special great-grandchildren, Anthony Graves, Randi Marie Long and Jerrid Graves. She also has one surviving sister, Ella Jane (James) Kelly-Dresslar of Greenwood.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Aaron in December 2016; sister Mildred Janice Robinson Alward; and brother James Kelly.

Services for Mrs. Craft will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Roachdale Presbyterian Church, with Pastor David Bower officiating. Burial will follow in Russellville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Masks will be required and social distancing is expected to be followed. Servies and Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
