Crawfordsville Fire/EMS Department is adding a new aerial truck to the fleet.
The Board of Public Works and Safety opened a bid Wednesday for a 100 ft. heavy-duty aerial tower fire apparatus.
The nearly $1.5 million bid came in from MacQueen Emergency Group of Whitesville. No other bids were received.
Board members took the bid under advisement.
In other business, the board:
• Approved a one-year agreement with MetroNet in the amount of $109.90 for internet service at the Community Paramedicine Program building. The program’s offices have moved to the former Montgomery County Visitor’s & Convention Bureau building.
