Camdyn Rice passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 23. Camdyn was born to Andi Ground in Lafayette on June 3, 1999. Camdyn fought Muscular Dystrophy from day one and never let it define his life.
Camdyn had many interests in life including cars, fashion, anime, computer games, siblings, and music.
Camdyn loved his family and friends deeply. He was always there for a late night ride to Wawa or really anywhere.
Camdyn loved fashion and had the opportunity to walk the catwalk in Little Rock, Arkansas, along with modeling a few times. Cam’s love of shoes was expensive, crease free, and classy.
Camdyn had a passion for fast cars, and worked on them as the best flashlight holder in the world. He is survived by his 1994 flat black Miata that will teach his siblings to drive stick shift.
Camdyn enjoyed following anime and Japanese culture, his favorite was Akame Ga Kill.
Camdyn would have you think he was a professional gamer, because he was followed by many across the world in GTA, Call of Duty, and OSU. Cam was also a Rocket League Champion in Arkansas.
Camdyn is survived by his loving mother Andi and Jason of Frederica, Delaware, and his siblings Elleigh (19), Jozee (14), and Ryker (10). Along with Great Grandma Kay, Ganny (Brenda) and Papaw Stinky (Steve), Aunt T (Tish) and Homer, cousins Jesse, Karleigh, Maggie, Elijah, and Jack. Uncle Matt and Bri, cousins Gavin, Rowan, Isla, Uncle Daniel and Uncle Josh of Indiana. Papaw Jerry and Vicky, Mamaw Rice (Carla), Aunt Tuna (Tina), and Great Grandma Esther.
There will be a service date at 6 p.m. May 20 at the Moose Lodge in Crawfordsville. There is also a go fund me page on Facebook (https://gofund.me/ce1159a5 ) for Camdyn’s family. Camdyn would also like donations to Make a Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers, being that he was a recipient of a wish.
