Carroll Ray “Buddy” Reynolds of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday afternoon, Oct. 5, 2023, at Franciscan Health of Lafayette at the age of 76.
Buddy was a millwright in the steel mills in Northwest Indiana. He attended school at Burlingsburg, Kentucky. He liked fishing, camping and family outings in the parks.
Born Dec. 6, 1946, at Central City, Kentucky, he was the son of Ray Reynolds and Sarah Elizabeth Wells Reynolds. He married the former Ella Mae Payne on March 17, 1975, at East Chicago. She passed away June 4, 2014.
Surviving family includes: daughter Linda Larson; son Dan (Lin) Engelmann; daughter Bonita Dornhecker; son David Engelmann; daughter Carolyn Lombardo; daughter Diane (Philip) Gutierrez, son Donald Ray Reynolds; son Roger Reynolds; brother Rick (Linda) Reynolds of Campbellsville, Kentucky; sister Elizabeth Faye Adler of Central City, Kentucky; 45 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son Tim Engelmann.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. People are welcome to start gathering at the cemetery at 2 p.m. Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
