Dugger, UIndy compete at NCAA Regional

Former Southmont distance runner competed with UIndy at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Regional. Dugger placed 130th overall in the 6K with a time of 23:51. The Greyhounds placed 12th overall as a team.

Hurt, Salukis place 7th at MVC

Crawfordsville standout Maddy Hurt helped lead Southern Illinois to a seventh-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country meet in early November. Hurt placed 50th overall in a time of 20:25.

McGrady, Bulldogs swim at UIndy

Former Crawfordsville standout swimmer Cami McGrady and current Butler freshman swam at the University of Indianapolis. McGrady’s 200 medley relay team placed 11th in a time of 2:02.68. She placed 40th in the 100 freestyle in 1:00.97.

Maxwell competes for Old Dominion

Former North Montgomery swimmer Gus Maxwell competed for Old Dominion against Davidson over the weekend. In the 200 freestyle, Maxwell was fourth in a time of 1:44.92. In the 500 freestyle Maxwell was third in 4:446.55.

Mitchell leads Ravens past Engineers

Former North Montgomery swimmer Lillia Mitchell helped Anderson’s women’s swimming and diving team past Rose Hulman last week. Mitchell won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:16.73, and was second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:49.75.

Swick starts for Adrian

Former Southmont basketball standout Kaleb Swick earned the start in Adrian College Men’s basketball season opening loss to Earlham 102-94 in overtime. Swick had four points and two rebounds.

Williams double-double leads Jags’

Former Fountain Central basketball star Macee Williams led IUPUI to a 65-48 season-opening win over Ball State. The junior recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
