Posted

The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend our first-ever State Financial Update Fireside Chat from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 31 at the Hoosier Heartland State Bank Success Center, 1623 S U.S. 231.

This informative event will feature Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliott and Indiana State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla in a moderated discussion focused on the current status of Indiana’s financial landscape.

Attendees will gain insight into the state’s fiscal health, budgeting priorities, economic outlook, and financial initiatives that impact local businesses, taxpayers, and communities. The program will also include time for audience questions, offering a valuable opportunity to engage directly with two of the state’s top
financial officers.

Understanding state financial policy is critical for business owners, community leaders, and residents alike, as state decisions influence economic development, infrastructure investment, workforce initiatives, and overall business climate. The Chamber remains committed to advocating for a vibrant business community by connecting local stakeholders with state leadership and fostering informed civic engagement.

The event is open to the public for a fee, regardless of age. The cost is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Preregistration before March 18 is encouraged to assist with planning.
