Chamber to host state financial update

Posted

The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to a unique and timely opportunity as Indiana’s top financial leaders visit Crawfordsville for a State Financial Update Fireside Chat. The event will take place 5-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoosier Heartland State Bank Success Center, 1623 S. US 231.

This event will feature Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliott and Indiana State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla in a moderated discussion focused on the current state of Indiana’s financial landscape. This is the only stop in the region for this type of event, making it a rare opportunity for local businesses, community leaders and residents to hear directly from state leadership — right here in Montgomery County.

Building on strong early interest, this follow-up announcement encourages attendees from across the region to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity before registration closes.

Participants will gain valuable insight into:

• Indiana’s fiscal health and budgeting priorities

• Economic outlook and financial initiatives

• Impacts on local businesses, taxpayers, and communities

The program will also include time for audience questions, allowing attendees to engage directly with two of the state’s top financial decision-makers.

“Bringing opportunities like this to our community is a component of our Chamber’s mission,” said Stacy Sommer, Chamber Executive Director. “This is a rare chance to hear directly from state leadership on financial topics that impact all of us — right here at home — and we’re proud to make that connection for our region.”

The event is open to the public. Registration rates are $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Preregistration is strongly encouraged.
