The Crawfordsville-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Crawfordsville’s newest art gallery. The Chamber of Commerce was delighted to host a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Created By… Artisan Gallery.
The Created By… Artisan Gallery is located at 301 E. College St. and is “the place for something unusual.” The gallery generally features unique gift items that would be used in nearly every person’s home but with an “artistic flair.” The art is created by local artists and the display in the gallery is splendid.
When asked about her inspiration for opening the gallery, owner Sandy Clark said, “I’m looking to give artists a place to sell their unusual pieces. Things they wouldn’t normally make.” And in a conversation with Chamber Executive Director, Stacy Sommer, Sandy mentioned that she was most excited about “meeting all the artists and seeing what unusual pieces they could come up with.”
