The Montgomery County Civic Band has a 58-year tradition of performing free Sunday afternoon, summer concerts for the community. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the band into a two-year hibernation.
Organizers are inviting all concert band musicians interested in continuing this community tradition to join the fun. Dust off that trumpet, flute or other band instrument and meet band members May 18 from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Tannenbaum Center (behind the Old Jail Museum) for this season’s first rehearsal.
