Indiana Retired Teachers Association recently presented to Mary Lou Dawald the Area 4 Court Appointed Special Advocate Award.
Dawald diligently volunteers her time to advocate for her CASA child in the court system to make sure their best interests are acted upon. The involvement of IRTA members in their communities is what makes IRTA special. Last year the Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association volunteered 15,154 hours to the community, valued at $385,682.
