COVINGTON — On Sept. 12, the Beef House Dinner Theatre will pay tribute to the Queen of Country, Dolly Parton. Musicians Logan Kirby, Kena Clark & Chrissy Sparks will come together to perform more than 20 of Dolly’s hits and celebrate her amazon life and career.
Kirby, Clark and Sparks will be joined on stage by the Beef House band featuring Chris Taylor on guitar and Todd Gallagher on Bass. Brian Zecher will serve as MC.
Dolly’s music and spirit have been very important parts of the past 30 years at the Beef House Dinner Theatre. From their performances of Steel Magnolias, Honky Tonk Angels, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and 9 to 5 the Musical to their original country music shows and tribute concerts that featured her tunes, they have always held an affection for her songs & personality.
Since Dolly was a lover of southern desserts, this Tribute to Dolly will be a dessert only show. No meal will be served. Cookies as well as many other desserts will be offered including fruit cobbler, banana pudding, and chocolate cake with ice cream among others.
Doors open at 1 p.m. eastern time for this Tribute to Dolly. The show will begin at 2 p.m. eastern. All seats are $45 and include the show, soft drink, dessert, tax and fees.
